Rescue Bots Birthday Party

Can you believe Connor is turning 6? There was a debate between two party themes this year but ultimately Connor chose Rescue Bots (his favorite show) from the Transformers universe. Connor was very involved in all the party planning this year which was really fun for both of us!

Rescue Bots Birthday Party Theme

I love a good challenge and Connor’s choice of a Rescue Bots theme felt like a fun theme challenge! I always love designing logos for the party to get my creative juices flowing. Gears felt like a good icon to incorporate throughout the party.

Rescue Bots Birthday Costume

The birthday photo shoot definitely wasn’t as straight forward this year but we ended up coming up with a funny idea. Connor decided to dress up as Cody Burns, the main character of the cartoon, leather jacket and all.

We tried to recreate the cartoon poster of Cody standing in front of the rescue bots. We did an optical illusion photo shoot to give the appearance Connor’s rescue bot toys are taller and larger than him. He thought it was hilarious.

Rescue Bots Birthday Invite

For the invitations this year I used light blue envelopes. I lined the inside of the envelopes with a colorful gear pattern paper that I made myself. I designed a Rescue Bots themed invitation featuring Connor’s birthday logo and included matching gear confetti I cut out on my Silhouette Portrait.

I sealed the envelope with an autobot shape sticker that I also cut out of iridescent sticker paper using my Silhouette Portrait.
