Are the Lovevery play kit subscriptions and blocks worth the price? Short answer: In my opinion, 100% yes.
We are in the thick of parenthood right now. We have an imaginative four year old and a newly walking one year old. What’s the saying? Oh yes, trying to keep your house clean with young kids is like trying to brush your teeth while eating Oreos.
For months I have been cautiously been walking through my house trying to avoid stepping on toys like they are land mines. So now I am on a quest to rethink how we are doing toys in our house.
My mission has been to start toy rotation and think about quality over quantity. I have seen ads for Lovevery and was pumped when they reached out and wanted to give us a few of their toys to try out. It was the perfect timing for my current focus on purposeful playtime. As opposed to our current situation: which kid can drag the most toys out and trip mom and dad.
As a stay at home mom who is also trying to run a small business, I am always trying to find the best path to encouraging my kids creativity and development but don’t always have the time to research how to go about it.
I was excited to read about the Lovevery story and research because it aligned with my goals but I often felt overwhelmed trying to do it on my own. They take the guesswork out and provide you with exactly what you need, when you need it.
Once I saw and felt the quality of the toys and how engaged both my kids were with them and still are after two weeks of playing with the same toys over and over in new ways, I was sold that they are definitely worth the price.
The Lovevery Block Set
From the minute my four year old opened the block set he was excited. The Lovevery block set comes in a beautiful and functional wooden box that is meant to be played with in various ways. We have played with quite a few block sets and by far the Lovevery block set is my favorite.
The quality is top notch, the variety and quantity (70) of pieces is the best I have found and the colors are so inviting and gorgeous.
My four year old is all about open ended play where he makes up his own creations with the blocks so I just let him do his thing.
When I am sitting on the floor playing with my kids I love building with the blocks as well. My 12 month old usually comes and knocks down my creations but that’s the stage we are currently in. It’s a hard lesson for my son right now. If you build it, the 1 year old will come… and knock it down.
I like that it also comes with a large activity guide that will provide me ideas for activities to set up that are age appropriate as our daughter grows into using the blocks.
Since we received the Lovevery block set, my son creates something every single day with the blocks. I like that it comes with both a box for storage as well as a draw bag to make cleaning up easier.

The Lovevery Babbler Play Kit
For my daughter I tried out one of Lovevery’s subscription play kits. My daughter turned one at the end of July but I decided to go up one box and try the Babbler Play Kit for Months 13, 14, 15.
Oh my goodness. When the Lovevery play kit box arrived both of my kids were like wolves ready to devour their prey. They were so eager to pull out all the toys in the box. As a small business owner, I will say the packaging was very well done. All the toys were perfectly secure and damage free.
I was really impressed with the quality of the toys. Even though the box was for my daughter, both of my kids played with all the toys in the box for at least two hours straight of uninterrupted play and played TOGETHER. That is by far a record in my house.
What I love about Lovevery’s toys is that I enjoyed watching my daughter play with the various toys because I could see her concentration and her working her fine motor skills.
My four year old loves the slide and seek in his play too. He attached his car track to it and used it to make a slide for his cars to go down. The toys are opened ended and allow for developmental growth and creativity to flourish.
The box also comes with a really nice and comprehensive parent guide with activities to do with the toys you receive in the box and additional activities that are age appropriate. When you are an overwhelmed parent like I am at the moment. That research and information is worth its weight in gold.

My kids and I love Lovevery toys. The subscription kits allow me to dive into the less is more mentality when it comes to the kids’ toys. The kids are focused and engaged longer when they play.
I know that there was a lot of research that went into making that happen. This is reassuring and exciting as a parent who is currently in the “trying to survive until bedtime” stage with two active little ones.
